I mean, the possibility to be evil in a game needs a damn lot of content and especially in Hogwarts Legacy it would take like 90% of the game away because you would certainly not be allowed to be a student as a character killing other students and the name of the game wouldnt fit as well if the possibility to be evil would be present. You do use the fact that we can learn dark magic as a reason to be evil, but its the same as saying that using the dark side of the force or fel magic as warlock in WoW should give you the possibility to be evil as well. Why are you focusing on one thing of what I said? You know the whole point is about something else and you just focus on the technical mistake. But no matter what you choose, you are the HERO of the story.ĭude. Will you be friendly and Hufflpuffy or Brooding and Slytherish. It's a very generic RPG with a set story and a set personality for your character, with slight unimportant changes to how you approch a situation. So many people want Hogwarts Legacy to basically be a "Hogwarts Student Simulator" but the game has literally never been said to be so. What would be the point of adding it as a game mechanic? You want Auror's which are just reskinned Dark Wizards to come chashing you? For the NPCs to ignore you and lock you to the current point of the story? You want them to make an entire "What if" story, where you turned evil? Well, you still haven't explained, WHY you want to be evil. Nothing wrong Avade Kadavering a Troll now and again.ĭude.
